Morbleu Rum Truffles
These tasty little treats are the talk of the town! Chocolate truffles are the best treat to give guests—and yourself. Our suggestion offers a little twist on the truffle theme, signed Distillerie Mariana!
Ingredients
- 8 squares of dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/4 cup 35% whipping cream
- 1/2 cup chocolate cake crumbs
- 2 oz. Morbleu chocolate rum
- cocoa powder
Steps
- line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil
- combine cream and butter in a saucepan; bring to a boil over low heat
- add the chopped chocolate and heat, stirring regularly
- remove from heat and add cake crumbs and Morbleu rum; set aside to let the mix settle
- turn mixture into small balls and place on the cookie sheet
- refrigerate for about 30 minutes or until truffles are fully set
- savour!
