On the very spot where Distillerie Mariana now stands once stood the barn of Jos Duval, a cart driver in old Trois-Rivières. In 1908, this is where the Great Fire began—an inferno that consumed part of the city and forever shaped its history.

More than a century later, we brew this pilsner in tribute to a man of the people who, unwittingly, became a turning point in our collective story. To drink a Jos Duval is to raise a glass to the memory of a fiery past, to the strength of those who rebuild, and to the living spirit of Trois-Rivières.
