Description
Formerly known as the "green fairy," likely because of its colour, its bewitching perfume and its supposed virtues, absinthe is a spirit with a flavour reminiscent of anise or black licorice. Distillerie Mariana's recipe stands out thanks to its hoppy bitterness and resinous notes.
Balzac is a Quebec absinthe that presents a harmonious balance between the herbaceous tastes of traditional absinthe and citrus fruits, which give it a subtle refreshing touch. With a 70% alcohol content, this powerful spirit should be savoured parsimoniously. When mixed with pure, cool water, its colour will take on an opaline hue and its captivating scent will be released.
