Profile: An intense nose of exotic fruits with notes of passion fruit and pineapple. A round, juicy palate combining gentle residual sweetness with smooth bitterness. Fruity, generous, and refreshing finish.
In the spring of 1896, an ice jam blocked the river at Grondines (about 60 km from here). The flooding submerged nearly half the town for more than two weeks. The Saint-Philippe district, neighboring the distillery, was left underwater: residents paddled through the streets, and some turned wooden sidewalks into rafts, hosting impromptu parties with musicians and… whisky.
La Grande Digue is a hazy IPA that pays tribute to this resilience. A lively beer with tropical fruit aromas and fresh hops, it draws inspiration from the resourcefulness that emerges when your feet are in the water… but your heart is still ready to celebrate.
